Unfortunately, we are unable to obtain your vehicle’s service history. If you are finding it difficult to get hold of the relevant documentation, we advise you contact your vehicle's manufacturer and request digital copies of your service history records from them.
You can also contact the vehicle manufacturer to find out how many main dealer services it has had. Some manufacturers will also be able to provide details of independent services.
If your vehicle has had services at independent garages, copies of service history invoices may sometimes also be obtained from there, as they are legally obliged to retain these records for seven years.
If your vehicle was serviced by a previous owner, it may be more difficult to get hold of the service records. However, it is worth checking your vehicle’s MOT record and entering the details from the V5C to find out where it took place. You can then contact the garage or dealership where it was carried out to see if they have records of any service.
Once you have acquired these records, you will need to forward them to us. We need these documents before we can provide you with the final valuation of your vehicle - and will only be able to take into consideration services that you can provide records for.
