Why is my private registration plate showing on my confirmation email when I'm keeping it?

The reg you entered on the Motorway website when you signed up to sell your vehicle is used in your confirmation of sale email. However, if you have told us that you intend to keep your private or personalised number plate as a 'retained plate', the dealer will be aware that this does not form part of the sale of your vehicle.
